Liz was the lighting designer and technical director for Robert Isabell, Inc. As a child, she was an actor performing in school plays. However, when she moved to Chicago as a teenager, her interests changed to stage management and lighting. She graduated from The Latin School of Chicago and became immersed in the Theater and French departments at Mount Holyoke College. After graduating with departmental honors, she was accepted into the NYU Tisch School of the Arts master's program in theatre design.
In 1985, Liz received her degree and became a staff member Palladium nightclub, continuing her education. In 1987, she was made Stage Manager of Palladium, a position she held until 1991.
After a downsizing at Palladium left her jobless, Liz called an old acquaintance for a letter of recommendation. Two days later she was hired as the Lighting Designer for Robert Isabell, Inc. As the business expanded, Liz's duties multiplied to include more on-site production management in addition to the draftings, designs, and budgets she had been doing. After 18 years, Liz has decided to start her own firm and so ERG Intentio LLC was born. Still continuing to freelance for Robert Isabell, Inc., Liz has now developed her own client base.
